OUR NEWEWST COLLECTION
Belle Joie Designs (which means "beautiful joy" in French) was birthed back in the summer of 2014 out of my own need to express creativity. I so badly desired to carve out some space of my own in this one life I have. What started out as simple beaded bar necklaces have since evolved into so much more!
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been drawn to intricate details of bead-woven jewelry. Everything from the colors to the beadwork patterns just enraptured me; I now proudly attribute this to my own Native roots. As my jewelry line evolved from seed bead bars to gemstone pieces, I couldn't shake the feeling that it just wasn't fulfilling me. The reason I'd started in the first place was to try and create those bead-woven designs I'd fallen in love with as a kid! I tried once in the very beginning, but it ended up a tangled mess, and I did not have the patience for all of those K N O T S!
A few years later, I decided it was time - I closed up shop for a few weeks and taught myself how to bead weave... and I haven't looked back since. Now I create handmade jewelry inspired by… well, anything! I use a combination of bead-weaving techniques and polymer clay to bring truly unique, beautiful pieces to life.
Belle Joie Designs has grown into so much more than merely jewelry. It's a reminder to myself (and hopefully to you as well) that we are capable of much more than we could ever imagine. You are capable of beautiful things. When you purpose your heart to go after your dreams, there isn't a single thing you can't do.
To encourage you along your own journey and remind you of your greatness is my entire purpose here. My own hope is that every time you put on your piece of Belle Joie Designs jewelry, you're reminded of the significance and the importance of who you are. Who you are is beautiful. Who you are is deeply loved. And who you are brings so much joy to this world.
