How long does processing and shipping take?
Please note that processing and shipping are NOT the same. Your order must first be processed in my studio and then shipped through the selected shipping courier.
Processing time varies depending on the products selected. Please refer to each individual listing for further details. As a general answer, all products that are NOT listed as "made to order" are considered ready-to-ship items. These items are already made and ready for their new home. Processing ready-to-ship orders will take roughly 2-4 days. Processing made-to-order items requires me to make the item as it is not made prior to listing. Current processing time for made-to-order items is 1-2 weeks. I do my best to process each order and get it to you as soon as possible!
Estimated shipping times:
North America: 3-5 business days
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but will keep in communication with you should something come up and I’m unable to meet this time-frame. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose. Once the product has left my studio, it is in the hands of the shipping courier. Please understand that I do not have any control over their actual shipping time-frames. Expect and plan for delays during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Where does my order ship from?
Unless otherwise requested when selecting your shipping options, your items will ship from my local USPS store in North Carolina.
Are there any customs and/or import taxes?
Items shipped within the United States typically do not require any customs or import taxes. Depending on state-specific laws, there may be a sales tax applied when placing your order.
When purchasing from outside of the United States, you will want to check with your country to better plan for any additional fees. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
Additionally, I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Return and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of the product and possible sanitation concerns, returns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If your products are damaged upon arrival, please contact me immediately! Including photos and details will help tremendously.
What is your exchange policy?
I will accept exchanges when contacted within 7 days of delivery, provided the items are in the same condition as when they were delivered and have not been worn. Once the original purchase has been returned, I will issue the exchange of product or shop credit agreed upon.
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
How much is the return shipping fee?
The return shipping fee typically ranges anywhere between $3-$5 within the United States, but does vary depending on your proximity. This cost will likely be higher outside of the United States.
Unless otherwise agreed upon (as discussed on a case-by-case basis), buyer will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping.
Do you accept cancellations?
I do not currently accept cancellations. Please reach out to me with any further questions or concerns regarding your order.
Care and materials
How do I care for my jewelry?
These items are entirely 100% handmade. As such, it's not uncommon to have a little unnoticeable quirk here or there, which helps make your item even more unique!
With items that include any bead-weaving, as these are hand-stitched, some exposed threads are normal. If you are seeing a lot of them clustered together, you may be looking at the back of the piece.
Please avoid exposing your pieces to excessive sweat or water.
Metal reacts differently with each individual's acidity in their skin and will tarnish or change accordingly. To help prevent the oxidizing process, I recommend storing each piece away from any excess air. I cannot be held responsible for the reaction between the metal, your skin and any oxidizing that may occur.

Are there any possible allergens?
I do have a cat. Although my pieces are made in a separate space, it is not uncommon for a cat hair to find its way from my clothes to the desk. I sanitize and clean my station before each new design is made. However, to be on the safe side, should you have a hyper-sensitivity or allergy to even the smallest possibility of a cat hair, please let me know as soon as possible.
I also condition my thread for bead-weaving with beeswax for extra durability. Should you have an allergy to beeswax, please reach out to me. We can discuss a made-to-order purchase that will ensure you don't have exposure to the beeswax!

Gift Wrapping and Packaging
Each item is packaged in a cardboard jewelry box with"Belle Joie" written across the front of it. If this a gift for yourself or someone else, I would be happy to replace "Belle Joie"with the name of the individual at no extra cost to you! Just mention in the notes section of your order that you'd like a specific name (and of course provide me with that name).
